The Southern Lit Alliance is offering several fun and special events in July!
Join us for our inaugural So Lit Book Club on July 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Chattanooga downtown Public Library. Howard Brown will lead us in a discussion of Clyde Edgerton's book RANEY. It's free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please let us know if you plan to attend here.
And, join us at our annual fundraiser, Art.a.ma.jig, on Thursday, July 31, 6:00 to 8:30 PM, at The Church on Main. Clyde will join us for this special event featuring one-of-a-kind art created by local fine artists specifically for Art.a.ma.jig using the theme "Stories." Event sponsors include the Grocery Bar, Riverside Wine and Spirits, First Tennessee, Zan & Julie Guerry, Miller & Martin PLLC, Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC, Starkey Printing Company and Chattanooga Coca-Cola.
Tickets are $75 per person. Purchase your tickets here.
The Southern Lit Alliance (formerly the Arts & Education Council) celebrates Southern writers and readers through community education and innovative literary arts experiences. We do this through our programs, the Celebration of Southern Literature, Education Enrichment for children and through Special Literary Events.
With your help, we will continue these important learning opportunities for adults and children.
We sincerely appreciate your support. Thank you!
